[03/03/26] - A Couple of Repair Jobs Yesterday I repaired a couple of Definitive Technology BP-7000 Powered Super Tower Speakers. I had to replace 6 caps and recommended to fully recap both speakers. The caps read bad on the esr dcr meter and others read pretty low. Of course I had to test them out and man they sound amazing. They have powered 15” sub woofers, two 15” passives and the weird thing the mids are way stronger forward and the highs are strongest coming out the back, not sure what thats about but if you set right inbetween the tweeters and crank it up it sounds killer! Ill get some better pics but heres a couple I took for wire reference and stock photo, ill do better with this in the future.
I worked on this Korg MS-20 on [11/11/25] and its one of my favorites just needed the pots cleaned but I loved opening it up and testing it. I’ll upload the video of the test eventually.
