Video Games:
Video games are a quintessential pastime. The hardware and software have been responsible for passing a lot of my time as well. [03/07/26] - Some Words and Some Screenshots About and From Some Video Games I'm currently emulating on PC and Raspberry Pi as well as have decent collection of original hardware. There is a Wii and a Wii u in my collection but I still emulate Wii games on my PC. In part because of save states but mainly it was fun getting it working. I even put a sensor bar on top of my monitor and connected a Wiimote to my PC :) I use Launch Box as a front end and Dolphin for the emulator. Here are some screenshots from New Super Mario Bros. Wii
When doom came out I wanted a copy so bad! Later at my local Circuit City they had a demo sega with the sega32 and doom32 cartridge on top. I was blown away! Still one of my favorite games to this day. I'm using gzdoom on my windows machine and crispy doom on my linux machine.
The nes was my first console and I still play nes games on a regular basis. I'm a casual gamer so a lot of games were unbeatable but with save states I can finally finish a bunch of games I wasn't able to as a kid.
When its time to relax there's nothing like watching Star Trek tng and playing some FreeCell on windows 95! currently using PCem.
